It was announced Year of the Luigi by Nintendo a few months back, and they did not disappoint. After the success of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, and the soon coming DLC for Super Mario Bros. U, we will have plenty of Luigi to celebrate.
Following Nintendo Direct’s announcement, the excitement seems to be continuing for a while longer. Mario Golf World Tour, Mario and Luigi: Dream Team, as well as a new Mario Party for the 3DS will be hitting store shelves later in the year.
Mario Golf: World Tour will feature a large cast of playable, characters, excellent gameplay mechanics, as well as new and old greens to get your golf on.
Nintendo announced that the mutiplayer feature for the game will work similarly to Mario Kart 7. That means we will have easier access to filling those game rosters with combatants, as well as saving their game ID to challenge again in the future.
The plumbing duo makes a tag team return in Dream Team. A turn based Mario action game that will feature dream worlds that Mario and Luigi get to trek through.
Round up your friends because the Mario Party is about to go portable. Challenge people locally and over the network to a variety of games and puzzles, featured on over 6 different game boards. Like all Mario Party games, it will have the full cast returning for it’s 3DS debut. So be sure to put some time aside and enjoy this board game style party that everyone can enjoy.
