Titanfall uses full Microsoft server infrastructure to become amazing
As part of a talk he had with the Official Xbox Magazine UK, Jon Shiring, software engineer Respawn Entertainment, rejected the notion that Titanfall be a good game just from a technical perspective, because it makes full use of the Microsoft server infrastructure.
“The game is amazing on all fronts-the gameplay is really new and different, and I think that’s what people want.” Said Shiring. The engineer also elaborated on the advantages conferred to rely on the experience of remote processing power of Xbox One
“The additional bandwidth is what allowed us to build a world with no moving parts, and the CPU is what lets us do things like artificial intelligence.”, It should be noted that more than a dozen players present in each multiplayer game will be controlled by the computer. “It’s not just a bullet that crosses the air and moves, generating data, artificial intelligence is making decisions and trying to shoot and see around.” Shiring said.
“Even a superficial level, the AI will always give this mixture having unpredictable results and keeps things interesting and exciting.” Added the designer Mackey McCandlish, who stressed that the way you interact with bots determine if an advantage or disadvantage.
Titanfall is an FPS with elements of science fiction, developed exclusively for the Xbox as One by the original creators of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare . The title will debut in March on PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
