Although microtransactions start to become very popular and important part of multiplayer titles, Ubisoft made it clear that his most recent game, Tom Clancy’s The Division, will not have this feature.
It was the community manager of the company, Natchai Stappers, who clarified the situation on Twitter, and made it clear that The Division will not be a pay to win.
Some people who played the Beta of The Division, realized the existence of the “Phoenix Credits”, but it seems that these will not be available for purchase with real money, only through the game progress. Stappers commented that Ubisoft will reveal details on this system later.
@Tovarisc_ There will be no microtransactions, and definitely no P2W

Surely this is a big change for the company since last 2 titles Ubisoft Rainbow Six Siege and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, they both had microtransactions.
Do you agree with cutting out microtransactions from The Division?
