Razer presents project for a fully modular PC
Under the Consumer Electronic Show 2014, Razer, the manufacturer of computers for gaming, Christine presented the project, the prototype of the first fully modular PC, which parts would be self-contained and easily replaceable.
The project aims to extend the life of the PC to convert each of its components in a self-contained module for easy replacement. Christine not only involves a physical division: each part of the system would be distributed modules and the motherboard would be distributed. Instead of changing components to fit old motherboard, each module would have to run all the necessary technology.
Each unit would contain a cooling system based on mineral oil and align allow up to 4 video cards in a quad SLI setup with factory overclocked components. Each module incorporate noise isolation technology.
