Sony Interactive Entertainment today introduced a new update for PlayStation 4 without much news as well as continue working on improving the performance of the console of the current generation.
Version 4.71 of the firmware is now available for download on PlayStation Network and it is a patch that will occupy approximately 340.6 MB on the hard drive. As for the notes, they mention the usual in this type of updates: “The update of the software of the system improves the quality of the performance of the platform.”
The last big update that really brought changes to the PlayStation 4 system took place last March, with the 4.50 update, which included support for external hard drives, customizable wallpapers, and a Boost Mode for PlayStation 4 Pro, among other important adjustments.
