Nintendo eShop removes time restriction over 18 years of age
Nintendo eShop after the controversy months ago has decided to remove the time restriction that prevented access, download and purchase content for over 18 years in their Nintendo eShop before 23:00 hours. The reasons that led to this is to make that decision was grounded in the restrictive German law, which are headquartered in Europe.
“Nintendo has removed the restriction on the content +18. Adults can now browse and purchase content for adults at any time of day,” the Japanese company exposes players to the home console.
However, after extensive analysis by the self-regulatory body of German entertainment software, the USK, has determined that Nintendo offers good protection for children, and has the required quality levels without the need for this restriction controversy times. Henceforth, therefore, the contents will be visible +18 to all users who want it. Nintendo recommends parents use the Parental Control Console to limit access to this content by smaller house.
