We could have interactive game shows on Xbox One Soon.
According to Phil Spencer, corporate vice president of Microsoft Game Studios, the company believes interactive experiences bring new shows to Xbox One, this year after the release of the popular trivia game 1 vs. 100 on Xbox LIVE.
In his Twitter account, the executive responded to a question about whether we would see similar things to this title in Xbox One, saying it is likely that, in fact, already talked about Nancy Tellem, the director of digital media and entertainment Microsoft.
In November 2009 1 vs. 100 was released for Xbox 360 and in July 2010, just after his second season, Microsoft announced that it would be canceled. The game was based on the TV show of the same name, where a player is faced with another 100 to win cash prizes.
According to the company, the title had more than 114,000 people playing simultaneously, a situation that gave it a Guinness record for the largest number of participants in a game show.
