FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn To Enter Closed Beta
Square Enix announced today that FINAL FANTASY XIV A Realm Reborn will enter the Closed Beta phase for the Windows PC on Monday, February 25, welcoming the most loyal fans into the fully-redesigned, massively multiplayer online (MMO) adventure.
Closed Beta players will be able to try out the new Full Active Time Events, or “FATE,” as part of the new gameplay system. Players can participate in these randomly occurring events by simply being within proximity of the event, without the need to form parties.
FINAL FANTASY XIV A Realm Reborn is the first MMO to have been completely rebuilt from the ground up to improve all systems, gameplay and player experience. It will release this summer for Windows PC and the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.
About the game:
The history of Eorzea has been marked by a cycle of prosperous “Astral” and disastrous “Umbral” eras. Now the land stands poised to enter another age of decline, a period known as the Seventh Umbral Era. On the eastern border, the Garlean Empire masses its troops for invasion, while the native beastmen tribes summon their deities. If you don’t have a beta login, do let us know and will see what we can do for you.
