Destiny New Level 40 System and how does if affect you when you play the game.
Destiny from the very beginning till now has been evolving through each of the expansion packs that have come out. From The Dark Below, House of Wolves and now we enter the Taken King in which Bungie has revamped the game to a new feel of being a new game.
When Destiny first launched we noticed that grinding was a big part of the game. The more grinding you did the better chance you could get to acquire a piece of armor that you were looking or in need of to be able to level up in the game but not every single time you got a different weapon or piece of gear. There were many times that we completed an activity such as The Vault of Glass and got many times the same thing, which made the system frustrating and not everyone has the amount of time to keep doing the same activity until they acquire it.
Such old system would eventually change to a new one that would focus more on XP progression which allows you to level up in the game and reward you for your playing time. Currently the base light level is 20 but it will be upgraded to a new system i Once the Taken King releases you will be giving the option to use the level 40 system in which allows you to level up your character’s armor, weapon and many other different items that you acquire.
How Does the New Level 40 work for you?
Lets say you are to real level 30 guardian and you like to level up to a gear that is at a higher level to 34. First you will not be able to level up or be able to acquire the gear. When you level up to the light level of the gear you will now be able to use it and level up the gear to the corresponding requested. To level up you will need to kill enemies, complete quest, bounties.
Now lets take a look at the video below in which goes in depth about this new level 40 kap.
