A leak suggests that the game developed by Infinity Ward will be shown for the first time next week. Jim Sterling, renowned critic of video games, received a document that supposedly comes from a video game store, which indicates that the next Call of Duty could be unveiled next Tuesday, May 3. On our previous post we detailed that PSN leaked the next Call of Duty 2016, called “Call of Duty Infinity Warfare”, this could have probably ruined the reveal of the next COD game unless the name is different.
If we consider that delivery last year, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, was unveiled exactly a year ago, it is not completely unreasonable that these reports are true. That said, so far Activision has made no comment, so it is best taken with a grain of salt.
Rumors indicate that the next Call of Duty Infinity Ward will take place in space and will have elements of science fiction, but will not be a sequel to Call of Duty: Ghosts. At the moment it is unknown what platforms will be available, but it is almost certain to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
