The Black Ops 2 Zombie come with many collectibles and since you need to survive to be able to make it through the zombie mode, you will need to find the Zombie Shield which block frontal attacks and can be placed on the floor to do a road block. Also the zombie shield is only good for a short period of time so you really need to strategize on how to use the shield as it does not last too long to hold off bunch of attacks from the zombies in tranzit.
