The best selling adventure/mystery game, Bioshock, is coming to mobile devices. The watered-down Bioshock mobile edition will cost anywhere from $5-10 dollars, maybe even less, based on how much it currently costs on PC. The game was released on PC 7 years ago, and received ratings of 9/10, and the series is still still going with sequels.
The game will be controller-supported, and beta testers say that the game feels and plays great with both controller or the touch screen. Apple’s iOS 7 will have improved controller support, hopefully in time for the Bioshock release.
The game will likely be ported to Android, but iOS is the priority platform for 2k.
The game’s graphics are not as good as they are on PC, mainly due to the requirement that Apple places on all apps, a 2gb file size limit. In order to make the mark, 2k has reduced the graphical quality, but the game still looks very good for a mobile game.
Bioshock – Mobile Edition’s release date is not yet confirmed, is expected to come in late 2014, or 2015.
