During a call with investors, Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will be without multiplayer.
“This game is single-player,” Guillemot said. “There is no multiplayer mode in this iteration because we spend all our time making sure that the single-player mode is excellent. And it is running very well,” he said.
Guillemot also hinted that Ubisoft plans to launch a multiplayer title Assassin’s Creed in the future, but made clear that the company is not ready to reveal that information.
Even the multiplayer section of Assassin’s Creed Unity was a strong element that the company promoted to the title in 2014. As we remember, this game had many bugs after release, an issue that Ubisoft seems to have understood and do not want to repeat.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate was officially announced today by Ubisoft, and will be released on October 23 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and later come to PC.
