Steve Downes, who voices the Master Chief said in an interview that Halo 5, which was announced during E3, will not be arriving until 2015 and also this year we expect the launch of the rumored Halo 2 Anniversary Edition.
“I think we are moving forward with Halo 5. Would not expect anything until 2015. What we can expect this year is the anniversary edition of Halo 2,” said Downes.
Thus, the leaks about Microsoft’s plans for Xbox One and Halo for 2014 reinforce this. Rumors spread that Halo 2 Anniversary Edition would be available in 2 ways. The first would be a collector’s edition that come with a code to download the Beta of the new Halo, while the second would be in the form of War Collection, which also include access to the testing phase and ports for Xbox One of Halo 3 and Halo 4. For now, Microsoft has not confirmed or denied this information.
