The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Review
The long wait is over, after 5 years in the making we finally have a chance to experience a game that you will play for many months or years to come.
The player begins the game imprisoned, being led to their execution as a result of crossing the border into Skyrim. As the player lays their head on the choping block a dragon attacks. In the midst of the chaos several Stormcloaks along with their leader & fellow prisoner Ulfric Stormcloak assist in the players & Ulfric's escape. Somewhere along the line they learn that Skyrim's civil war is the last in a sequence of prophetic events foretold by the Elder Scrolls and that they are Dovahkiin – a Dragonborn, born and charged with the duty of defeating Alduin and the dragons.

Skyrim is an open world that you will be able to roam in and go anywhere that pleases you. As this is a large world you will be able to explore skyrim either by foot or on horse. You will play the last Dragonborn during the game you will have the ability to carry spells, make weapons, upgrade your skills and have dragon shouts which you acquire them by by slaying and absorbing the souls of dragons, as more dragons are slain the greater the ability to use the dragon shout increases. These shouts have powerful effects and provide the user with a variety of abilities. Gaining all the different types of dragon shouts will take some time but is a rewarding quest.
There are over 250 dungeons scattered across Skyrim which you will be exploring during your gameplay. Another great experience in the game is when you visit a dungeon that you have explored, and when you go into it again for the second time you will explore something different.
There are eighteen skills in all, the three secions which they are divided in are Magic, Combat and Stealth. Where Skyrim shines is through the perk system, the game will have over 200 perks to choose from which you can upgrade your skills that you gather throughout the game. You can upgrade your sword or axe by giving it more strenght when you strike your opponent and make them bleed more with fierce attacks.
The graphics of the game are amazing and are to be admire, you can see the dedication that Bethesda put in it. I can say the graphics in Skyrim are incomparable to other games, it's uniqueness of the trees, wind, snow and animals look like they have true life in them as they look real. In the graphics is where Skyrim exceeds along with a good AI that you can interact with and do things that you would probably only do in real life.
The wait has been long since the previous game and Skyrim is the game that you will be enjoying for months to come. As you play the campaign or do side missions this can take upto 100 hours of gameplay. If you love RPG games then this game is for you, with the spectacular graphics, long campaign and a good AI, this is such a satisfying game to play. Gamerfuzion gives it a 9.5 out of 10.
