Sony asks for patience with shortages of PS4, but is it all true?
Response to a question via Twitter about the apparent abundance of Xbox One and PS4 shortages, Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Worldwide Studios, merely asking consumers patience.
“Lord, I can go out and buy a Xbox One dozen shops in the world today but I can not find anywhere PS4 Any tips” asked someone on Twitter, to which Yoshida, as mentioned, only answered: Be patient.
Andrew House, head of Sony Computer Entertainment, said in mid-November that the company would avoid the frustration of the lack speeding up production, but did not want to accumulate that many consoles in dressers because that would give the impression of poor sales. Apparently, the balance between scarcity and abundance is too complicated to achieve and when there is some discomfort among consumers.
That is a surprise to me! I can find a ps4 in about half dozen stores, so why is SONY making it look like they are none available for sale? Interesting, let me know what you think in the comment section below.
