RUMOR: Sony to announce a new project at E3 2014
According to a report in the The New York Times newspaper, Sony Computer Entertainment is working on a new title that will be revealed during the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014. The company will take the reins of the newly founded be screened Pixel Opus.
The newspaper said Alex Lee, Executive Producer of SCEA, taught a course in video game development at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where students created prototypes of games for PlayStation Vita. Some of these students were hired as interns for Sony and the result of their work will be presented at E3, which have the most complete coverage.
Importantly, no information about the location of Pixel Opus because SCE currently has 13 studios in North America, Europe and Japan under the brand Worldwide Studios.
