Resident Evil 2 will run in Unreal Engine 3
Rod Lima spent dozens of hours to remake the popular survival horror Resident Evil 2 on the Unreal Engine 3. He then climbed the entire game session with Claire (A) to YouTube, where he received numerous accolades for their hard work.
Most of the models, animations and the scenario used was extracted directly from several sets of Resident Evil and used them to learn how to program the game system in Unreal Development Kit Engine. Undoubtedly, it is a fantastic start to learn how to develop games.
Rod used the free version of UDK. In the video we see his painstaking creation. We also wonder if there will be a good time for Capcom make an HD reissue of their classic survival horror, because due to copyright, it is unlikely that Rod dares to publish their work.
