Last week when we told you that Activision was plaining to start charging for you to play online with your friends we where still wondering if the gaming community would have any input in there decision. But it seem as though they don't even plan on asking as you will see in the video below where a fellow gamer try's to join his friends Modern Warfare 2 game and this is what happen.
“I was trying to join a friend’s session on MW2 the other day and had this screen pop up. It clearly says at the top of this menu: ‘Modern Warfare 2 Membersh’, in which we can confidently assume that the last word is “Memberships”. If you’ll notice at the bottom is an option to “Add Microsoft Points”, clearly indicating that this was intended to be a menu for purchasing different levels of Membership, presumably memberships would have been offered in a variety of duration.”
I am in amazement on what Activision is trying to pull here they could sink the most profitable franchise by doing this. We will contact Activision today to get confirmation and will keep you posted. Are you going to allow this to happen because once one company start others will follow we must make a stand and tolerate this.
