More problems at EA as founders of Criterion Games leave the company
Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry, founder of Criterion Games, British studio known for developing some iterations of the series Burnout and Need for Speed , stopped working for Electronic Arts.
“Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry EA have decided to leave. We appreciate his many contributions over the years and wish them well in their future endeavors. “Said a representative of the U.S. distributor.
Sperry served as CEO of Criterion and Ward did the same in the studio as vice president and creative director reboot titles like Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Need for Speed: Most Wanted .
The loss of both directors could a craving like a difficult situation for Criterion, especially when we remember that 3 months ago most of his creative talent was transferred to Ghost Games . However, Electronic Arts stressed that the study is maintained and even working on a new game, temporarily called “zero draft” for the new generation of consoles and is led by producer Matt Webster.
