Microsoft announces movie rentals via Xbox Video

On April 1, 2014, Microsoft announced in a press release that will allow Xbox Video rent movies and purchase of playback functions spread over multiple devices, which is given in the context of the arrival of The Hobbit.

To top it off, the company delved into new tools for navigation via Xbox One SmartGlass . Now it will be easier to access the list of achievements, challenges and Videos; see recent users, sort the list of friends; snapping an application from a mobile device; and receive alerts for Xbox LIVE, via smartphones or tablets.

The announcement of the tools and features is given in the context of the revelation that Twitch for Xbox One has been a success, but also statements amid Phil Spencer, director of Xbox, put the games on television in the case of Microsoft’s new console.
