Metal Gear Solid The Movie has finally been announced after numerous rumors.
The Metal Gear Solid The Movie will be produced by Avi Arad and Columbia Pictures will handle a reality again. What began as an image, was confirmed via Twitter by the hundreds of attendees of 25th anniversary of the franchise. Then we leave you with a nice photo gallery that tells how it happened in the announcement and some extra details.
Arad, the producer of the film, talked about how difficult these years has been to bring the comics to the movies. “Well, video games are the comics of today,” he said. And it is expected that the genre of movies based on games have grow to the level that comic book films today.
As if that were not enough, the same actors Kojima talked about you like: Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Hugh Jackman. He also talked about his favorite movies, among which are, obviously, some of Columbia Pictures-like Taxi Driver. Nolan was also mentioned as one of his favorite directors.
