Capcom has released the first trailer dedicated to the recently announced gameplay of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. In it we see Ryu and Mega Man X fight Iron Man and Captain Marvel, in what appears to be a battlefield located in Asgard, home of Thor. As previously announced, Infinite is a fighting game 2 vs. 2 characters, so instead of 3 on 3 for which the series is known. This has led some to remember a style more similar game to Tatsunoko vs. Capcom , title fights that the company launched on Wii.
Another detail that was revealed this video is that the characters will be able to make combos calling his teammates, in a way somewhat different from the previous games. Some mention that the system is closer to Street Fighter X Tekken , where the second character appears and the player must attack at the right time to link two strings together.
Another interesting element was the appearance of the Infinity Gems, which were used by Ryu and Captain Marvel for different powers related to these stones.
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was officially announced for the PlayStation Experience event, Sony. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.
