EA, the popular publishers and developers of many games, such as Battlefield, FIFA, Dragon Age, and many more, have announced a $5/month plan ($30/year) for Xbox One users. This cheap subscription will provide access to three things, ‘The Vault’,’Play First’, and ‘Play for Less’.
The Vault will allow players to download and play EA Classics and older games for no extra cost. Some of these titles include FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, NFL 25, and Peggle 2, and those are just the games available in the program’s beta Stage. The Vault will most likely contain titles that have slower sales, and that are older. If you’re looking for newer games though, check out the next two features.
Play First will allow subscibers to EA Access to play newly released games 5 days before the official release of the game. Some of the hinted titles are: Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, and NBA Live 15, with more titles to come. There is a catch though! These early access games only allow for a 2 hour playtime, before the trial runs out. To continue playing from where you left off, just purchase the game! All content transfers from the early access over to the full game if you choose to purchase it.
Play for Less is a coupon for ANY EA Game on the Xbox Live store. 10% off any game will save you the amount that you pay for the service, if you buy ONE game per month, or five games per year. Some of the titles that this will work on today are Battlefield 4, Battlefield 4 Premium, Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare, and more coming soon. This 10% off also applies to all EA Game’s DLC packs, which is SURE to save you money on a game you might already own.
