DayZ Standalone reaches 1 million sold copies.
The overwhelming sales for the Standalone version of the survival game open world, Dayz, do not stop. The CEO of Bohemia Interactive, Spanel Maruko confirmed via Twitter that the title reached one million copies sold after its first four weeks of availability on Steam Early Access.
Meanwhile, Dean Hall, creator of the project, said that this figure indicates that players feel like true creativity in video games, besides wanting to participate in the development process of these. According to Hall, the scene of independent titles ceased to be restricted to small projects and, thanks to its huge growth, became a big and serious business.
