The office responsible for regulating the content of video games in the United States, the ESRB, classified the next studio project From Software, Dark Souls II, with the letter T, that is, suitable for ages 13 and older.
The ESRB states that “fighting is exalted with screams of pain and small splashes of blood.” It also indicates that the dialogues include big words and some locations are decorated with blood and gore. For bosses, indicates a giant snake holding his severed head, a monster made up of many bodies and a partially nude female creature from waist to head, with hair just covering her breasts.
Interestingly enough, at the time, its predecessor got the M rating for his funeral and dark theme, not to mention the violence in the fighting. The ESRB, however, makes it clear that in comparison, the characteristics of Dark Souls 2, title to debut on March 11, 2014 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 were attenuated by its developer home.
