New Moon Music Soundtrack

Twilighters (and even Twi-loathers) have been making so much noise about the anticipated New Moon soundtrack that it's getting an early release.



The powers that be at Summit Entertainment and Atlantic Records have seen fit to drop the buzz-garnering album this Friday, October 16 -- four days earlier than expected.



The indie-pop/rock flavored soundtrack features the already-released single by Death Cab for Cutie, "Meet Me On the Equinox," as well as songs by Radiohead's Thom Yorke, The Killers, Muse, Band of Skulls, Grizzly Bear, Anya Marina, Sea Wolf, OK Go, Bon Iver with St. Vincent, and more.



The soundtrack's musical cred can be attributed to producer and Chop Shop Music Supervision owner Alexandra Patsavas known for her work on The OC, Chuck, Gossip Girl, and Grey's Anatomy.



The Twilight Saga: New Moon hits theaters on November 20.
