A couple of days ago, Electronic Arts released a short preview of the campaign Battlefield 1 which made it clear that will have more than just one story. Now DICE, the studio behind this installment, shared more details about each of the five campaigns first person shooter.
The first is Friends in High Places; in it, the allies are losing the air war against the talented German pilots. Here, your mission is to confront this complicated situation to take possession of the skies while you face “intense fights, unexpected encounters and a history of friendship.”
On the other hand we Nothing is Written, campaign where you control an Arab rebel who seeks to end the oppression of the Ottoman Empire. The good news is you will not be alone in your fight against the heavy artillery of the Ottomans as you have the help of Lawrence of Arabia to find a way to end this powerful enemy in the deserts of the Middle East.
The third campaign is called Through Blood and Mud and takes place in the fall of 1918, as British forces prepare to attack Cambrai, France. Your army has the upper hand thanks to its powerful heavy artillery, however there is a problem: you are part of a dysfunctional team, so you need to learn to work with your teammates to succeed.
Another story that will Battlefield 1 is Avanti Savoia, where you will see the Italian army and the Austro – Hungarian Empire weakened by the cold and snow of the Alps. The situation worsens when none of the two sides find ways to evade their enemies, so the battle for a strategic fort is inevitable.
The last campaign of Battlefield 1 is The Runner, in which the British Empire intends to make an unprecedented naval invasion Ottoman lands. Here you take the role of a messenger of Anzac and see the action of the war while trying tosurvive to deliver urgent messages.
