Assassins Creed III reaches 12 million copies sold
Ubisoft has announced that Assassins Creed III has sold 12 million units around the world and all its versions, representing an increase of 70% compared to the previous game in the series, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. In December the company announced that the game had sold 7 million copies and had become the most successful title in the history of Ubisoft, so this new figure would mean a fairly significant increase in sales in just one month.
Moreover The gala game publisher also wanted to announce that Far Cry 3 has sold 4.5 million units, counting both those sold in physical and digital format, which has become a new best seller for the company.
I guess with this sales, ubisoft is planning to make a new assassins creed game to be released this year.
