Resident Evil 5 Walkthrough Enemies

The Majini are residents of Kijuju that have recently been infected by a new, stronger version of the Las Plagas parasitic strain that Leon S. Kennedy ecnountered in Spain in 2004. They resemble the ganado greatly, strengthened by the fact that even Chris compared them to the ganado.

The majini were once peacful people living in the region of Kijuju. However, in the year 2009, they were all changed into violent, blood thirsty monsters. The majini are better than the ganado in many aspects, mainly due to the fact that the new Plaga strain is stronger. They come in many different kinds, all proving to be a great threat:

Majini: Residents

The most common kind of all, they are infected with a stronger Plaga strain. There weapons consist of the usual: bowguns, fire bombs, dynamite, shovels, axes, picks, etc.

Tribe-like Majini

The same thing has happened to these people, however they seem to be more intelligent in the use of weaponry and protection. They mainly use wooden shields, spears, and wear masks.

Armed Majini

Verry strong majini with the most advanced weaponry. They use stunrods, machine guns, shotguns, and bulletproof protection. These majini are a major threat. They also appear to use grenades. Be very careful with these, as they intend to hide in the shadows.

Bulk Majini

Large majini, but not a major threat. Attack by using a series of bunches.

Giant Majini

Very big majini that are overweight, very powerful and they possess a fairly strong resistance.

Savanna Majini/Riders

These majini appear in the Savanna chapter. They primarily use their motorcycles and try to attack you with chains. There are also others that drive buses carrying many other enemies to hurt you. You must use a gatling gun to beat them.

Main Bosses/Uroburos

Wesker

A mutated Wesker that injected the Uroburos strain in him. Caused massive mutation. Final boss.

Jill

Jill survived her apparent death, only to become the mind salve of Wesker due to a mechanical device planted in her chest. Also obtains superhuman speed and strength. She is later saved by Chris.

Excella Gionne

She injected herself with the Uroburos virus, thus causing her death finally.

Ricardo Irving

A researcher for TriCell, who injects the Uroburos strain in himself. Caused massive mutation and transformed into the Leviathan, a creature similar to Del Lago in RE4.

A crab-like creature that is a newer and improved version of the infamous U-3 from RE4.

Ndesu

A troll creature that is very big in size. Very strong and dangerous. It is known as El Gigante (The Giant) in RE4.

Uroburos Creatures

On various occassions, you will face a black worm-like creature. Seems to be weak to fire.
