Ultimately, I'd say that the Modern Warfare 2 Combat Controller a mixed bag. It certainly has its appealing elements – the rubberized grips, low-profile shoulder buttons, fast action triggers, Modern Warfare 2 aesthetics, etc. – but at the end of the day, the shortcomings of the thumbsticks and mapping buttons make it a hard sell to players already well accustomed to the original Xbox 360 controller.
